Self Service Password Reset Registration
1. Open an incognito/in private window and go to https://aka.ms/mfasetup and sign in
2. If you are already setup for Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) you will be brought to the “Security Info” page. IF you need to setup SSPR you will see the “More information required” screen below
3. Make sure you have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your phone, links below
Apple/iOS: Microsoft Authenticator on the App Store (apple.com)
Google/Android: Microsoft Authenticator - Apps on Google Play
4. On the screen below click “Next”
5. Follow the steps on the next screen on your phone and then click “Next”
6. Scan the QR code with the Microsoft Authenticator app and then click “Next”
7. Enter the number on the below screen in the notification on your phone. The screen will change to showing “Notification approved” and then click “Next”
8. Next, enter your mobile phone number and then click “Next”
9. You will receive a text message on your phone. Enter this code in the screen and then click “Next”
10. You will see the below screen showing that registration is successful. After clicking “Done you will be brought to the “Security info” page to review your registered security methods.
