• Please begin by checking your WIFI interface on the laptop. A grey color and “Wi-Fi turned off” will indicate that the laptop WIFI is not turned on. Fix this by clicking on the bottom icon

           

  • Once you do this you should see the icon change color to indicate your Wi-Fi has been turned on

           

  • Select the “Guest-Registration” WIFI signal.

           

  • Your web browser will open with the form for guest registration. The guest will need to fill this out using his/her personal email address and the email address of the person they are visiting.
    • If the browser doesn’t automatically open, you might have an old driver. The workaround is to type ‘1.1.1.1’ (no colins) into the web browser. This will redirect you to the page below.

           

  • After the guest completes the registration the system will send an “approval” email to the NorthStar email address the guest filled out.

           

  • After the NorthStar Employee approves the Guest’s request to use WiFi, another email address will be sent to the Guest’s personal email with an access key.

           

  • To complete the registration. The user will open the “NorthStar-Guest” WIFI connection and enter the Access Key they received to their email.

           

  • A security prompt will open, after reviewing and accepting this information guide. The guest will be connected for NorthStar Guest WIFI and will have internet access.
    • If the browser doesn’t automatically open, you might have an old driver. The workaround is to type ‘1.1.1.1’ (no colons) into the web browser. This will redirect you to the page below.
