- It’s imperative that logging off should be done properly to avoid potential profile corruption in the form of profile setting(s) no being saved after logging out. Profile corruption will need to be resolved via a profile rebuild. Examples of improper log off are the following; to disconnect via Disconnect shortcut/start menu, closing out the session window and letting the session close on its own due to Idle.
- There are # options to do a proper log off (A. via Sign out option in the Power User menu) (B. via the desktop Log off shortcut), and (C. via the Power user menu by selecting Ctrl+Alt+Del on the Citrix toolbar)

Three ways to log off properly from Citrix Desktops
- Via Power User Menu
- To properly log off via Power User Menu, click on the windows icon at the bottom left of the desktop to open the Windows Menu.
b. Click on the User Profile icon to open up the Power User menu-> click on Sign Out to successfully logoff.
2.via Log Off Shortcut
Click on the Log off Shortcut to successfully log off.
3. Via Citrix session Toolbar Menu
a. Click on the Citrix Tool Bar on the top of the Desktop
b. On the Tool bar click Ctrl+Alt+Del option to open up the Power User Menu, -> click on Sign Out to successfully log out.
