- Go to https://m3.metallic.io/
- Enter your NorthStar email address as the username and click “CONTINUE”
- You will be brought to the Microsoft login screen to enter your NorthStar email password:
- Select “Restore” on either “Exchange Online” to recover email or “OneDrive for Business” to recover files stored in your OneDrive
- Select the folder, document or email that you want to restore then click the “Restore” button
- Select whether you want to restore the item to the original location or to another location.
If you selected to restore to another location, you will be shown a folder selector to pick where you would like the item to be restored to
- Next select the restore options such as what to do if the file already exists in the existing location
- Review the restore options and then click “Submit”
- You will be shown a summary page. You can use the link on this page or the “Jobs” option in the menu to view and track the process of the restore process
- Under the “General” heading you can see the status of the restore
