On Screen Takeoff – Creating a new project

 

STEP 1: Click the Project tab along the top of the screen.

 

 

STEP 2: Click the destination folder for the project, in this case click on Demolition

 

 

STEP 3: Click the “NEW” icon

 

 

STEP 4: Fill out the cover sheet

 

  1. Enter the Project Name    - Cristo Rey Jesuit School - ReBid
  2. Enter the Estimator Name    - Phil Thecube
  3. Enter a brief description of the project    - Cristo Rey Jesuit School – ReBid

 

 

STEP 5: Insert Drawings / Plans stored on the shared folder

 

 

You will then drill down into the shared “S” drive to the bid folder location, click on the file, then on Open

 

 

In this case, 205 pages have been imported into On Screen Takeoff
