Please Note, the app on your phone must be open in the background in order to receive calls. Do NOT kill the app, leave it running in the background.

This requires a license and requires Branch level approval.

 

1. Download the Mitel Connect Mobile App on your mobile phone.

2. Once installed, launch the app.

3. Enter your username and select MiVoice Connect (Premise)

 

 

4. Under Server Address enter: mitel.northstar.com 

    

    Then hit Next

 

 

5. Accept the Certificate Error

 

 

6. Enter your Shoretel password and enter your mobile number and then hit Sign In

 

 

7. Accept the SSL Certificate

 

 

8. You will get a message that will say the setup is successfully provisioned

 

 

 

 To have calls Routed to new Mitel App

 

1. Open the Mitel app on your computer desktop

 

2. Click on your name then click on the settings icon

 

 

3. On the left pane, click on Call Routing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Next to When, click the dropdown and select Custom

 

 

5. Customize your routing. Select Start Wizard

 

 

6. Make sure Also simultaneously ring these numbers box is checked and that Connect mobile client is selected, then press Next

 

 

7. Select Forward the call to my voicemail and select how many rings you would like to have before calls are forwarded to your voicemail when it’s not answered. Then hit Next

 

 

8. Record a Voicemail Greeting (Optional), then click Next

 

 

9. Select Yes, callers can leave a voicemail, Then Save

 

 

 

 

10. Now going forward, when you want to forward calls to your mobile phone, you need to now open the Mitel app on your computer’s desktop, under your name click the drop down and select Custom. And you can select color and status (i.e.,                   Select Color: Available; Custom Status: My Cell Phone). Then select Done

 

 

 

11. Now you can change back and forth from your office phone to your mobile phone by going from Available to Custom
