• Please begin by checking your WIFI interface on the laptop. A grey color and “Wi-Fi turned off” will indicate that the laptop WIFI is not turned on. Fix this by clicking on the bottom icon

           

  • Once you do this you should see the icon change color to indicate your WiFi has been turned on

           

  • Select the “NorthStar_Employee” WIFI signal, you should get a prompt to enter your credentials.
  • Do not check off the box that says “use my Windows user account” Rather, input it yourself
  • Use your NorthStar username without “@northstar.com” (ie: ckrit)
  • Your password should be the regular NorthStar email password

           

  • If done correctly, you should be signed in to the NorthStar Wi-Fi with internet access 
  • Your web browser will open with the secure internet policy portal. Read and click accept when you have reviewed the information
    • If the browser doesn’t automatically open, you might have an old driver. The workaround is to type ‘1.1.1.1’ (no colons) into the web browser. This will redirect you to the page below.
